Help WantedThe Crystal Lake Catering Company will be hiring in the following positions for the 2005 operating season. Chef:This position will become available mid-May, and continue through mid October 2005. You will have the opportunity to work through the winter holiday season as well. An experienced, professional chef who has a proven record of leadership, accountability and success is required. This person must be creative and have both a strong work ethic and drive to always witness progress and improvement. This position will work closely with the owner of the company who is largely responsible for sales, marketing, and occasionally the role of on-site coordinator and executive chef. You will be expected to prepare high quality foods from standard and original recipes. We are accepting cover letters and resumes today and will begin to conduct interview the week of November 15th and hire for the position by December 31st, 2004. Sous Chef:This position will become available on mid-May, 2005 to a creative person with both a strong work ethic and drive to always witness progress and improvement. A wealth of experience is preferable but we believe with proper training the right person can do a great job. Our sous chef will work with the chef to prepare high quality foods and service the food at a number of on and off-premise venues. Compensation is negotiable and will be largely based on your level of experience and performance. It will include outstanding food prep and on-site service wages, tip income, an option to major medical insurance and possibly room and board.
Professional Server:We are hiring servers with a wealth of experience in service in a fine dinning atmosphere. This position offers lucrative employment that will work around your personal and professional schedule. Our flexible schedule works on a sign-up basis. It offers you minimal hours and yields maximum monetary return. The Crystal Lake Catering Company will cater multiple functions throughout Benzie, Leelanau, Grand Traverse and Manistee Counties from mid-April thru the end of December. Each event offers as many as 14 hours to a little as 3 hours. You can look forward to a fun and enjoyable work environment. Many of these events are parties in which you have almost as much fun as the guests.
Who we are:The Crystal Lake Catering Company is located on the north shore of Crystal Lake, very close to Lake Michigan and adjacent to The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Our immediate surroundings are naturally beautiful and almost everything is publicly accessible. Outdoor activities are plentiful as well as equally and fully represented.
